Far-right President Jair Bolsonaro’s open praise for torture, military dictatorship and extra-judicial police killings has us extremely worried. His destructive programmes for the Amazon rain-forest, social security, education, workers’ and trade union rights, indigenous rights, and ‘security’ must not go unchallenged.
